The Wagner House frame is made from all reclaimed hand hewn timbers from a barn located in central Indiana. It was originally part of a much larger barn that had too many issues to be rebuilt as it was, so we reconfigured the beams to make this smaller timber frame structure that would be ideal for a home. The main frame is 25.5’ wide x 37.5’ long, while it has an additional 13’ wide lean-to that runs the length of the frame. The big feature in this frame is the massive 16” tall poplar swing beam that ties into the loft. This beam makes it possible to eliminate a center post, leaving only one center post in the main frame of the barn.
This frame will be raised in Huntingburg, Indiana in Spring 2025. It will be a small part of a much larger home. More pictures to come upon project completion.
